My computer is running Windows 10, Intel quad-core i5-6500 CPU processor running @3.20GHz, 8GB of RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB.graphics card. For about a month now,.GTA V.has been crashing during loading. At first, it was just after the selection screen (singleplayer, multiplayer, etc.). It would load for a few seconds after I chose whatever I wanted to play, and then crash.
I tried everything forums suggested (deleting new apps, deleting rpf files, repairing GTA, updating drivers). I finally decided I'd had enough and went ahead to delete and reinstall the game. Unfortunately for me, the game now crashes instantly. Literally as soon as the window opens, it goes black (as if to start the first opening cutscene) and then it crashes. So now I've tried even more things.
Such as safe mode, reinstalling DirectX, deleting more apps and.running on low resolutions. Nothing is working.
System Service Exception more crashes one was video memory management internal, crashed. After that it was pretty stable until I tested GTA V as a game test to see, now it seems to crash over again. For the most part it isn't right now. Here are the latest files. It is strange because before GTA V it ran furmark just fine after I reset drivers.
It doesn't want too anymore, not sure what happened before to make itself stable. At least now I guess the problem lies with the card or drivers. CPU doesn't seem to be the issue or heat. Here are the recent crashes from before GTA V and After I believe the latest 2 mindmp are the ones after.
Also memory one.
Hi guys, Since I bought this GPU, the ASUS Radeon R9 285 Strix OC 2GB, I have been getting the ERRGFXD3DINIT error. It occurs during gameplay and it's totally random as of when it occurs. I have tried literally all solutions and I still keep getting the error. My GPU temps are about 73ÂșC/163F. Rockstar Support said and I quote: 'The ERRGFXD3DINIT message appears when there are issues with the core voltage and/or VRAM clock speed.
In order to correct this issue, please contact your video card's manufacturer in order to receive support for the settings.' I have contacted AMD support but I still haven't got any reply. So I decided to try my luck here.
My specs: GPU: AMD Radeon R9 285 Strix DirectCU II OC 2GB (installed on PCIe 3.0 x16 with latest 16.1 Crimson driver) CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 3.2 GHz RAM: 8GB Motherboard: Asus Z97-K/USB3.1 PSU: Nox NX650W OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (installed on a Kingston V300 120GB SSD) This is my GPU on Game Debate: I must admitt I play with more VRAM than the game's slider advise me to use but using MSI Afterburner my VRAM never goes above 1800MB even if the game slider shows I'm using 2400MB. Sometimes I also get black screen followed by a 'No Signal' on my monitor and I have to hard restart my PC. Can anyone help me so that I can finally play the game decently? I spent nearly 400 euros this Christmas buying upgrades for my PC for nothing. Thanks in advance. Abyssmal wrote: so are you running this card overclocked or otherwise not at stock? if so or anyways, use the reset button in msi afterburner and apply afterwards to return to stock settings.
If that doesn't fix it, you can try forcing constant voltage via msi afterburner's settings and/or disabling ULPS (wich lowers the clocks on the desktop) I'm running the card at stock (I think it comes OC'ed from factory). What I did now was lowering memory clock to about 1075MHz and the power limit to +20 since it doesn't let me change the voltage. Update: this time it didn't show the error but the 'No Signal' appeared. After more than an hour of gameplay the screen froze then the 'D-SUB No Signal' appeared and the music kept playing until a certain point, then I hard restarted the PC when I finally stopped hearing anything, music whatsoever. Any idea what might be? And is this related to the ERRGFXD3DINIT error?
Thanks in advance.
